Comfortable beds in our double room. Modern style private bathroom. Stunning and marvellous location with free parking if needed and adjacent to the fabulous wooden lavvu-shaped restaurant, Sorrisniva for a snow mobile safari, and port in Alta...

Once in a lifttime, staff were really helpful/friendly. The food and recommended wine for dinner were really good. Hotel itself is unique, stunning and staying the night actually quite comfortable. Enjoyed Snowmobiling as well.
The cost but then i wouldn't change what we did for a minute.

Good hotel with free Wi-Fi, a cozy bar, and a 24-hour reception. On my first stay, the staff even helped print important documents. I highly recommend relaxing after outdoor activities. I'm coming back for Christmas.

Stunning hotel and certainly a once in a lifetime experience - it's not often you get to stay in one made entirely of ice. There's a log cabin where you eat and drink, shower and use toilet facilities. Plus there's a nice lounge and, if you want, outdoor activities that you can book.
When the hotel is busy, it can feel quite crowded in the log cabin area and not quite as exclusive as you might hope/expect, especially given the cost.

The location set by a river, mountains, lodge style. Common areas were well laid out and restaurant staff and food were excellent.
Checkout is too early at 10am (information on Booked.net is incorrect in stating between 10-12) given that you are not dropped to hotel until 1730 by the shuttle.Guests should not have to pay to use the hot-tub. Information about restaurant menus and the set dining time should be supplied to guests in advance. Booked.net stated that full price would be taken on day of booking but this was incorrect.

would definitely go back
The exclusive suite had a super cozy vibe. We enjoyed a hot tub and sauna, perfect after a day in the cold. Breakfast was great with freshly baked breads and organic juices. The sleeping bags and reindeer skins kept us warm all night despite the ice surroundings. The ice sculptures looked fine and were even more amazing under the night sky.

The intricate ice sculptures were a amazing sight, a unique artistic experience. Breakfast, particularly the omelettes, was good, a perfect start to the day. The additional costs for the sauna and hot tub felt excessive, and the bus tour for northern lights was disappointing, lacking guidance and engagement. Despite these drawbacks, the atmosphere was magical was nice.
